TToT – Snow and Ice Edition

Is it really the end of the week? I’m not sure exactly how that happened. Maybe it’s because we had a three day week again…snow days Thursday and Friday and here we are in the very wee hours of Saturday already. So yeah, I’m so not prepared for TToT yet. I think we’ll wing this…

He Cooks! – Homemade Pizza Edition

My Husband claims he is a kitchen disaster. I wouldn’t exactly call him a disaster. But his skill level in the kitchen is not terribly high. Although I really do think he shortchanges himself quite a bit. The Fab Hub has become an expert smoothie maker and he assembles lunch for me and Kidzilla every…

Soup of the Week – Cream of Mushroom

This week’s soup is no-frills easy, friends. I found a recipe for Easy Cream of Mushroom on Pinterest recently and realized it had been quite some time since I had a good bowl of cream of mushroom soup. Cream of mushroom is one of my favorites – provided it’s not the stuff from a can.…

Focus on Routine – Crafting a Plan

It is very difficult to focus on improving our daily routine when every other day is a snow day. Or a delayed opening. Or something. Seriously, how are you supposed to get into any kind of rhythm when there just isn’t even a beat to follow? And hasn’t been one since like…Thanksgiving? There has been…

Soup of the Week – Hearty Tomato Lentil

This soup was not my idea. I would never have thought of making lentil soup. Tammy from Grown Up, Now What suggested it when commenting on one of my other soup posts and it sounded like a great idea. We hadn’t made a tomato-based soup in a while and I was looking for something different.…

TToT Part Two – A Tribute to the Rotten Cats

Today is the Rotten Cats’ birthday. It is. They are eight years old today. To celebrate, please join me in a little TToT dedicated to my Rotten Boys. I figured I could probably come up with ten reasons why I’m thankful that they are part of our lives… Humor. The Rotten Cats provide an endless…
