It’s finally coming…
Only the coolest Disney villain EVER. I’m going.
And until then, I shall continue to drink my coffee from the coolest mug on the planet.
What cool movies are you waiting to see?

I am still excited to go see the new Hunger Games movie, since we were at one of the places they filmed it right after filming was done. You know, the movie that came out back in November. Thanks for reminding me. 🙂
Really? That’s pretty cool. Did you post about that a while ago? I seem to remember reading that.
I’ve seen pics, and the Angelina Jolie styling is pretty impressive. Can’t think of any movies I’m excited about now. ‘Course I always go see Katniss Everdeen.
I have yet to read the Hunger Games books. I can’t make my head be interested in them. I think – like I mentioned to Heather with The Giver – that they are just not what generally piques my interest. Call me odd. I am sure at some point I will probably have to check them out. After all, I wasn’t particularly intrigued by the Potter books, but they are some of my favorites now.
Lisa, you are right! She is the coooooolest Disney villain anywhere. I like her because she was not acting out of fear but sheer meanness. I’m sure me and my daughter will be first in line. xo
Right behind me, baby! I love the bad guys – always have. Darth Vader is also a favorite and Snape from the Potter series – although I don’t know if we can really count Snape as a villain. But she, Maleficent, is just my all-time favorite. When she turns into the dragon during the battle with Prince Charming? Awe. Some.
Oh my, I adore that mug!
Isn’t she fabulous? Not only that, but it’s HUGE as well. It easily holds about 20 ounces. So, you know…more coffee, fewer trips to the coffee pot.
When I first heard that Angelina Jolie was going to play Maleficent, I thought she had the perfect face for the character. I hope the movie is good.
I still want to see The Book Thief. The book was excellent. The film got so-so reviews, but I still HAVE to see it to make up my own mind.
The Giver is coming out this year, too. My kids and I cannot wait!
I would really like to read The Book Thief. After that, I will likely want to see the movie as well.
I know a lot of people are excited about The Giver. Somehow, this is on my list of books I’ve never read – and I can’t believe that, considering its popularity and acknowledged influence. I think it’s probably just that it doesn’t fall into my circle of general interest. But maybe I’ll have to give it a look.
I definitely think Jolie is exactly right for this part – hope we are not disappointed!
Your mug! I love it love it love it. And yeah, I agree that she’s the best villain ever. Sadly, I can’t think of any movies that I’m super excited to see. I must need to watch more TV for the trailers!
Or YouTube – I actually saw this on YouTube when I was looking for something totally unrelated.
[…] saw a couple of trailers for the movie Maleficent this week. You can check those out here. Whether you like her or not, tell me Angelina Jolie is not perfect for this […]
Okay – I had no idea they were doing a movie on Malificent – that’s Awesome and it looks amazing. I think Angelina looks perfect for the role.
Thanks for sharing this! As for movies I’m looking forward to seeing, I pretty much living under a rock on that front at the moment, so I don’t have a clue – but I may make an effort to get out and see this one!
I’m usually the one under the rock when it comes to new movies, Louise! But this does look awesome.
That seems like it would be an interesting movie to see. Lately I’ve been trying to see all the movies that have been nominated for the academy awards. By the way, I don’t recommend American Hustle. Very slow and boring, not worth your time.
Good to know – thanks for the tip. It looked like it could be interesting, but I was really not sure.
