What’s Going On Today?
I’m going to be a bit MIA Tuesday night through Wednesday. Here’s what I’ll be doing…
1. Trying to stay as current as possible with the OnlineBlogCon 2012 posts. I came upon this online blog conference quite by accident, but I’m glad I did! It’s perfect for the life I’m living right now.
- Mix warm Sprite, whiskey, a generous squeeze of lemon, a dollop of honey. Drink slowly.
- Mix a cup of water with a generous amount of vinegar and drink.
- Peppermint, ginger, or basil tea are all reported to soothe a hoarse throat.
- Plain old warm water is often helpful. Mix with honey, lemon, or both for additional results.
- Cayenne pepper (just a little bit!), lemon juice, warm water. Drink slowly.
I also found a few new and interesting ones at homeremedies.ygoy.com. Some of the ones I already knew were listed there, but they also had quuite a few new suggestions. Check out the page of hoarseness home remedies here.
3. Stewing a little bit Clearing up what I believe to be a misunderstanding with a colleague that has me more than a little bit upset. But I really do not have the time or energy to stay upset and in the end, it really isn’t worth it. So I’d like to set things right as soon as possible.
4. Sorting and editing a pile of fall photos. I have so many I can’t begin to decide what to use.
5. Working on some more of the fun things I promised to post.
6. Staying focused – despite many potential distractions – on the things I promised myself I would re-commit to doing regularly. Taking care of my Self is crucial to success in all other areas of my life. Join me in my journey to better well-being?
Have a lovely Wednesday!
I believe whole-heartedly in these sore throat remedies. Good list.
Oh, the photo sort….should be an Olympic event I swear!
It’s amazing how I think I took maybe ten but when I unload the camera it’s a hundred.
PLEASE tell me you got the work-thing straightened out. I cannot STAND that kind of discord. I’m going to be anxiety-ridden until you assure me you and this person can work together happily-ever-after.
I absolutely did. It was relatively minor and turns out the other party was acting as a result of their own personal stresses and worries. I suspected as much and was glad to clear the air. You may now commence being not anxiety-ridden. 🙂
