1000 Voices Speak for Compassion AGAIN in April
The members of 1000 Voices Speak for Compassion are gearing up for another campaign!
This month, 1000 Voices Speak for Compassion is talking about nurturing. On April 20th, we will link up once again to flood the Internet with good and positive posts about nurturing.
For my April post, I will talk about nurturing the Self. I’m sticking with the theme of self-compassion that I started with the initial campaign. It has become clear to me from reading other posts on compassion and reading the conversations in the comment sections that the concept of self-compassion is one many of us need to prioritize.

This piece introduces our March topic on bullying. I talk a little bit about how being part of 1000Speak has affected me.
In March we shared our experiences with bullying. I shared my thoughts on self-bullying here on the blog. I also talked about bullying as a very public secret over at Hasty Words.

It definitely is, Jill. Have a great week, too!
Looking forward to reading these wonderful posts. I have an idea in my head about nurturing, the sandwich generation and compassionate self care all mixed up together. Hopefully, I’ll get it straightened out before the 20th.
I’m sure you’ll do fine, Val!
I’m looking forward to reading your post on the 20th. I am so excited to be part of this movement, and I plan on writing about nurturing our dreams.
That’s a good one, Jen. I touch on that a bit in mine, too!
Think I will probably join again this month. The need for nurture is so evident every single day in my work with kids.
I think you could do a wonderful post from that angle, May. I’ve loved the things you have posted on that topic on your blog before. So true.
